2019: Chaktarabaidya School Reconstruction

Chaktarabaidya Free Primary School, located in the Kulpi district of Poschim Bongo state in India. The school was initially built by funds allocated by the State government which proved to be inadequate leading to incomplete and inferior construction. Because of the poor infrastructure of the school and lack of toilet facilities, the children do not feel any attraction to continue in the school. The proposal envisages renovating the buildings and providing benches for the students, table and chairs for the teachers The estimated expenditure amounts to $8000. In the short term it will reduce dropout rate and in the long term it will improve literacy rate.
