2019: Haiti school water supply
In 2016, Caring Hands helped reconstruct this school after Hurricane Matthew. The school is now running well and the school authorities are trying to establish forest garden in this mountainous neighborhood of the school for steady supply of fruits and vegetations for the children. The garden grows well and produces nourishing fruits during the rainy season. But rest of the year there is hardly any water supply for irrigation or drinking. The mountainous area however has good subsoil water that can be brought up through deep wells and pumps. Caring Hands provided funds so that wells can be bored, and water can be pumped up and stored throughout the year for drinking and irrigation for plants and vegetations.
